Shark Diving For Everyone!
Now everyone can get "up close and personal"
with the ocean's ultimate predator-The Great White Shark. San Diego
Shark Diving Expeditions is offering anyone over the age of 12 a
chance to view these huge predators from the safety of our custom
designed shark cages. We will have an instructor teach you how to
safely breathe from our hookah regulators so that you can now join
us on our very successful Great White Shark expeditions to Isla
Guadalupe. This is a great opportunity for families, friends, and
non-scuba certified individuals to participate on these exciting
trips. A minimum of restrictions will apply, please call for details.
The Sea Escape accommodates 18 divers and is a sturdy basic vessel. Accommodations are in
double occupancy staterooms and a quad dorm room.
There is storage space for gear and camera equipment.
The Sea Escape is 110 ft long. It has 3 decks. A sundeck, Lounge/salon and and lower berthing area. Meals are generous and emphasize Mexican cuisine and seafood dishes. Please let us know if you have special dietary preferences.

There will be a panga for those who would like to cruise near the shore of the island and take surface photos of
the Elephant Seals, Guadalupe Fur Seals, and California Sea Lions.
Guadalupe Is. is 210 mi. SSW of San Diego and 144 mi. offshore on
the Pacific side of the Baja Peninsula. Water
temperatures at this time of year should be
in the mid 60-70s and visibility is often 80-100 ft.
The transit form Ensenada to Isla de Guadalpe will take about 20
hours.
We will be using "hooka regs" (long hosed
regulators connected to the boat's air bank system) so you only
need to bring your wetsuit/drysuit, booties, hood, gloves, and mask.

The boat will depart around 12:00 noon. That should get
us to Guadalupe Is. around 8:30AM the next morning.
We'll have until around 3 PM on the last day
at the island to dive before our return to Ensenada. The 5-day itinerary
will give us 3 full days at the island at Guadalupe. The boat should
arrive into Ensenada around 2:00 PM on the last trip day. At 3:00 PM you'll board
the bus for the return to San Diego. We should get back to San Diego
around 6:00 PM. We recommend that if you are flying, to book your
reutrn flight the next day.
